QuickThread is a software development tool kit (SDK) for writing multi-threaded applications using the C++ programming language on Windows based systems.

 

QuickThread does NOT provide a C++ compiler nor software development environment.

Delivery of software

 

The purchaser will supply their valid email address together with their purchase selection at the time of purchase. This email address will be used as a user name on our support and downloads website. After purchase is confirmed, instructions for accessing the support and download web site will be transmitted to the user supplied email address.

 

Delivery of the software is performed by the user obtaining a download of the QuickThread software from our support and updates website. Access to this website requires a purchase of one of the supported products. Should purchasers access to the support and downloads website become problematic, then delivery of software will be made by other means (email, ftp, failing that then on CD-ROM with shipping charge).  This system is currently not automated; therefore purchases during evening hours, over weekends and holidays may incur a delay in the response. (Order processing center located in Central Time Zone US).

 

Development System Requirements:

 

Windows x32 or x64 based development platform

(not available for Itanium IA64 platforms).

C++ or C++0x compiler.

Microsoft C++ and Intel C++ have been tested.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or later is preferred

Intel Parallel Composer add-on recommended

 

Target System Requirements:

 

Windows x32 or x64 based platform

Multi-threaded capable processor(s)

(code will run on single core single threaded processor)

 

QuickThread is a licensed package covered by an End User License Agreement (EULA).  A copy of the EULA is provided here. It is your responsibility to read and understand the End User License Agreement. Purchase of product or services constitutes your acceptance of the End User License Agreement, and in the case of corporation, your corporation’s acceptance of the End User License Agreement.

 

There are five types of Licenses:

 

Evaluation License

Single Developer License

Per Seat License

Royalty License

Blended License.

 

The agreement terms and conditions for each license are listed in the End User License Agreement (EULA). It is your responsibility to choose the correct licenses.

 

For users residing in the state of Wisconsin USA there is an additional 5% sales tax.
